I Was Awarded the Liebster Award!

I would like to say thank you to Michele from Michele's Place of Learning and Earning Online for nominating me for the Liebster Award! This is the first time I have received this award, it is a cool and fun award too.

For those who are not sure what the Liebster Award is, here is the details:

"The Liebster Award is given to up and coming bloggers who 

have less than 200 followers. What is a Liebster? The meaning: 

Liebster is German and means sweetest, kindest, nicest, dearest, 

beloved, lovely, kind, pleasant, valued, cute, endearing, and

11 things about me:

1.  I love to cook
2.  My kids are my world and my interests are mainly based around them
3.  Blogging is an addiction of mine
4.  I started to enjoy growing vegetables, it has become a hobby
5.  Walking is my favorite form of exercise, I do it everyday
6.  I rarely eat out, but when I do it is usually pizza
7.  My least favorite chore is doing the floors - dread it
8.  I have 1 loving cat, I had 2 but lost one to old age last year
9.  My favorite TV show is Criminal Minds
10.  I never liked writing in school, and now I love writing
11.  I still enjoy my classic video games

The 11 questions Michele asked me:

1.  Who has influenced you most in your life?
This is a tough one, my whole family has been great! I honestly can't pick just one person, they have all been a great value to who I am today.

2.  What is your favorite pasttime?
Probably have to say blogging

3.  What kind of music do you like?
I like a big variety of music from Lady Gaga to Nickelback.  I don't have a specific genre

4.  Do you have any siblings?
No I am an only child

5.  How do you destress?
Walking is a great way for me to destress.  I love to walk and exercise is great to help you clear your mind.

6.  What is your favorite ice cream flavor?

7.  If you could vacation anywhere in the world, where would it be?

8.  Who is your favorite actress?
To be honest, I don't have one.  I am bad with remembering the star's names and I don't watch a lot of TV to know a lot of actresses! I do have a favorite actor tho (yes he is on Criminal Minds) - Matthew Gray Gubler

9.  What is your favorite type of food?
I love a big variety of food so this one is hard for me to answer! I would have to say home cooked because the list would be too big :)

10.  Are you a glass half empty or a glass half full kind of person?
I really don't think about it either way.  I am more of a glass is empty or glass has some in it kind of person.  

11.  Are you the type of person who would rather cook a good meal at home, dine out or purchase take out?
I am definitely one who would rather cook at home.  I almost never eat out and love to cook! That and my favorite food is a home cooked meal.  I do occasionally like to eat out, but very rarely.
